One of the series featuring local detective, Patrick Hedstrom and his wife-to-be Erika. Set in Fjallbacka a 7 year old girl is found dead in the harbour. Efforts to find her murderer opens up nasty behaviours by many - her father, his father and his wife's mother, Lilian. The past was cruel to Lilian. Is that why she poisoned both her husbands and killed the granddaughter.
Dislike the hosrtor component of the story. And I was a history major!
